Come and join our Foundation Sugarpaste course with a Christmas theme and learn the skills needed to cover cakes to a professional finish and the know-how to use basic sugarcraft equipment. This course will count towards achieving your Foundation Master Certificate.
Come and join our Foundation Sugarpaste course with a Christmas theme and learn the skills needed to cover cakes to a professional finish and the know-how to use basic sugarcraft equipment. This course will count towards achieving your Foundation Master Certificate.
On this one-day course, expert tutor Claire Fitzsimons will teach you how to cover a 6" round fruit cake and board with both marzipan and sugarpaste to a professional standard perfect for your Christmas cake!
Under Claire’s expert guidance, discover how to use the latest sugarcraft equipment including plunger cutters, silicone moulds and impression mats, as well as creating beautiful seasonal sugar flowers to adorn your cake.
You will leave this course with the perfect cake ready for Christmas and the confidence to create impressive celebration cakes all year round.
Skills You Will Learn: Marzipan and sugarpaste covering techniques. How to finish your covered cake with sugarpaste decorations.

This event is open to your friends or family members. As a reminder, under our Linked membership scheme, up to three of your friends or family members can join CSSC and take part in our events at members’ rate.
