LAWN MAINTENANCE
Contract is estimated to begin:
06/01/18 to 06/30/2018 (*FY 2017)
07/01/18 to 10/31/18 and resume 04/01/19 to 06/30/19 (*FY 2018)
07/01/19 to 10/31/19 and resume 04/01/20 to 06/30/20 (*FY 2019)
07/01/20 to 10/31/20 and resume 04/01/21 to 06/30/21 (*FY 2020)
07/01/21 to 10/31/21 and resume 04/01/22 to 06/30/22 (*FY 2021)

Vendor must sign in before beginning and after cutting of grass.
Cut, trim and maintain the grass area: FOUR (4) CUTTINGS PER MONTH**,
To be performed once per week on a day agreed upon between vendor and Station Commander. Any additional cutting above or beyond 4 cuttings must be approved in advance by the Director, Facility Management Division.
Weed Control to be performed once per month during the cutting season. **
This could be spraying weed killer, weed whacking and pulling weeds.
Supply all necessary equipment to perform services and remove all clippings, trimmings and lawn type debris from the premises. Special attention should be taken to be sure; cut blown grass does not get on State Police or personal vehicles.
*PLEASE NOTE THE PARTICULAR DATES.
**Special Note: Cuttings and weed control service may be designated by the Station Commander to be less than stated above, dependent upon weather conditions, such as drought that may affect grass growth.
This contract does NOT include additional Landscaping or trimming of bushes/trees. Additional landscaping must be requested on an Agency Requisition form and approved by the Director of the Facility Management Division before any additional work is done.
VENDOR MUST VISIT THE SITE AND TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION ALL CONDITIONS PREVAILING THAT WOULD AFFECT THE BID PRICE – BEFORE BIDDING.
COMMONWEALTH WILL PAY FOR ONLY THOSE SERVICES ACTUALLY RENDERED. COMMONWEALTH HAS NO OBLIGATION TO HAVE CONTRACTOR PERFORM ANY WORK OR ANY MINIMUM AMOUNT UNDER THIS CONTRACT.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE ALL DOCUMENTS MAY BE CAUSE FOR BID REJECTION.

COMPENSATION INSURANCE SHALL BE CARRIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE WORKMAN’S COMPENSATION LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA.
CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) abides by the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy. The policy can be found at . In accordance with this policy, any vendor staff members that will perform janitorial services or be unescorted at a PSP facility must have a Federal fingerprint background check performed before entering the building. The vendor staff members required to have this background check must obtain the required authorization letter from their employer before reporting to a PSP installation to give a full set of fingerprints. The PSP will use the fingerprints to perform a state record check and will then forward them to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a national criminal history record check. The information obtained from the criminal history check shall be used by the PSP for a fitness determination. PSP will retain records of those individuals who have completed the fingerprint background check.
