DC’S report

November rally was enjoyed by all who attended. members learnt about hoof care, with much detail and examples of sliced hooves and legs. Thank you to Bron Kruegar for proving the lessons for no cost.

The vaulting lessons offered members some challenging fun, which was good for confidence and balance. Thank you to Leonie for her challenging jumping lesson, with members racing against each other, Tiny T for taking flat lessons at short notice and also thank you to Beth McNaught for teaching the yearlings group ,also at short notice.

As the Connemara group has been very popular and the ability of combinations of the Connemara and Welsh group are similar the DC committee have decided to disband the welsh group and create two Connemara groups. Thank you to all the people who have helped with organizing the trivia night and for the many donations of prizes for the night.

Hope you can all attend the special fun December rally which will be activities in the morning followed by lunch, then awards and presentations.

We will also be holding a Christmas raffle so please if you can contribute something for the raffle. RaffleTickets will be available to purchase on the day.

Trivia fun Night

Thankyou to everyone who attended our pony club trivia night held at the Little River Sporting Club last weekend. It was a great fundraiser and a fun filled night with lots of prizes to be won.

Thanks once again to the hardworking committee members who spent a great deal of time organizing and running the night. Very special thankyous to kerry Gauci, Ann Payne and their families, the McNaughton’s, Kelly Webster and the Norris family for not only doing a great job running the bar but to Gus who just kept on…….. asking all those really hard questions all night ???????
