Responsibilities:This project consisted of the construction capping an existing landfill and building a new municipal park for the city of San Mateo. Construction activities included constructing park facilities including entry kiosk, maintenance, and restroom buildings. Project Value $6 million.

  • Traffic improvements were in compliance with the plans and specifications and approved contractor’s work plans and on the contractor’s work progress related to all activities.
  • Involved in temporary utility relocations and permanent utility installation, including installation of utility conduits and boxes, testing and splicing of electrical, telephone and fiber optic cables.

2000 to 2003: Project Concrete DF Track Superintendent

Job: PATH Renewal Project,New York City. BART SFO Track Project, San FranciscoCA

Responsibilities: As Project Superintendent included the following.

  • ( PATH )This project consisted of 8 ballast turnouts and 12,000 feet of DF track with third rail. These track forms require special expertise, working to particular tight tolerances. Project Value $17 million.
  • ( BART )Responsibilities included organizing and supervising actives on constructionSFIA. The extension for this track work and 3rd rail installation included 17 miles of DF track and 35 DF crossovers. Also inclusive were extensive track work for Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers. Project Value $45 million.

1999 to 2000: Quality Control Officer

Job: Track Project for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.

Responsibilities as Quality Control Officer included the following.

  • Develop, implement and supervise a quality control program for construction of a rapid rail transit project.
  • Duties included training and supervising a crew of three technical staff sampling and testing of track related components, aggregate base, 7 miles of DFcast-in-place concrete, track ballast. Project Value $16 million.

1998 to 1999: Quality Control Officer

Job: Transit Station / Aerial Structure Construction for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid

TransitAuthority.

Responsibilitiesas Quality Control Officer included the following.

  • Supervise a quality control program for construction of a rapid rail transit station including traction power substation, ancillary facilities and aerial construction.
  • Act as EEO/DBE officer to interface with MARTA risk management. Project Value $54 million.

1997 to 1998: Quality Control Officer

Job: Transit Station Site Clearing for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.

Responsibilities as Quality Control Officer included the following.

  • Supervise quality control department on earthwork and drainage for North Springs Station Site.
  • Coordinate and conduct all inspections for final acceptance by PBT/TA and MARTA.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety compliance during construction phase of the project. Project Value $6 million.

1994 to 1997: Quality Control Officer

Responsibilities as Quality Control Officer included the following.

  • Oversee and evaluate construction management activities on construction MARTA rail transit project.
  • Coordinated preparatory, initial follow-up completion and final inspection including all turnover documents to Parsons Brinckerhoff/Tudor client’s agent, MARTA. Project Value $16 million.
