- **Positive check in for the 1500 freestyle will close by the end of the Saturday afternoon session. Our Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions for senior swimmers are long- exceeding 4 hours. Although an option for us, we have decided that we are not going to cut these events down to fit into a 4 hour time frame. We believe your swimmers want to swim and we want them to as well. The onus is on you and your senior swimmers to commit to swim the 400 IM and the 1500 free. If they want to be there, we will be there for them.
- Swimmers swimming 1500 Free, 400 free and 400 IM require their own timer and counter.
- Warm-ups -We will be utilizing the diving well with lanes as well as the competition pool to accommodate warm-ups. Rest assured that no team will spend their entire warm-up in the diving well and teams will rotate through so that it is fair to all swimmers. Assignments will be posted on the meet management office window each day.
- Starts for 50 meter events are at the far end of the pool, not the “diving well” end. Timers will not move. This means an extra measure of guidance for your younger swimmers.
- Visiting volunteers. As always, your team is allowed the courtesy of one or two volunteers on the deck, with permission from our coordinator, to supervise and assist your 12 and unders. Please utilize the system. We won’t be able to allow parents on deck nor can we act as a runner for the various teams.
- We greatly appreciate volunteers who will come on deck to work as “wranglers”, timers and officials. It is the coolest place to be when the weather warms up. ONLY those volunteers who have checked in to work on the deck will be allowed on deck at any time. No parents or spectators for any other purpose are allowed on deck by the USC facility.
