1. / Nominees for Vice-Chancellor's Excellence in Research Award must address the following criteria for assessment. Nominations will be assessed on evidence provided in relation to the criteria.
  1. Research significance — describe how the research aligns Research Plan 2015-2017 with at least one of the Research themes:
  2. Environmental Sustainability: Climate, Agriculture and Resources
  3. Education: Access, Equity, Pathways and Aspirational Change
  4. Health and Well Being: Translation, Service and Innovation
  5. Urban Living and Society: People, Culture, Economy, and Built Environment

  3. evidence of national and international recognition.

Documentary evidence is necessary to support nominations for Excellence in Research Awards only. While assessment is based primarily on the written statement and referees reports, nominees can choose to submit two of the following supporting materials:
a. a three minute video (which could include footage of the nominee talking about their research program or demonstrating the impact and outcomes of their research)
b. website (URL)
c. 5 pages of printed research material in PDF format
d. Profile photo of applicant head and shoulders or Team Photo
(There is an expectation that applicants have granted permission for the panel to review their research outputs as recorded in the Research Portal).
