1. Enclosure (1) provides information on various current and recurring financial policy issues and questions. Enclosure (2) contains a compendium of frequently asked financial questions and corresponding answers. Previous distinct Financial Management and Accounting Policies have been and continue to be replaced with corresponding DoD Financial Management Regulations (DoD FMRs). Enclosures (3) and (4) are lists of the current DoD FMRs and Navy financial policy manuals. We will publish updates to this guidance periodically. Request widest dissemination to appropriate personnel.

2. We have provided hyperlinks to most instructions, however, due to security issues some links to secured sites may not always execute from the Word document, particularly for Navy Guidance. Enclosure (5) provides the direct link to the NAVSO publications, which can be copied and pasted into the address bar of Internet Explorer.
