Browser Settings for STP-Gate site on IE8

Go to Page -> Compatiblity View Settings

Add the url of the test site in the below mentioned screen and do the settings as below.

Step 1: Open IE browser & click ToolsInternet Options.

Step 2: Select Security tab & select Internet option

Step 3: Click on Custom level button and ensure that all the options are done as mentioned below :-

Step 4: Select Security tab & select Local intranet option

Step 5: Click on Sites button and ensure that all the options are checked

Step 6: Click on Custom level button and ensure that all the settings are done as mentioned below:-

Step 7: Select Security tab & select Trusted sites option

Step 8: Click on Sites button and ensure that the valid url is placed in websites section

For e.g. : If server machine is ftcpu726

Step 9: Click on Custom level button and ensure that all the settings mentioned below are done :-

Step 10: Select Advanced tab in Internet Options and ensure that all the settings are done as mentioned below :-

Windows Vista related changes (For Zip download and upload) :-

1)Go to Control Panel\Programs\Default Programs

2)Click on Associate a file type or protocol with a program

3)Scroll down and select .zip extension

4)Click on Change program button, below screen will appear

5)Select WinRAR archiver and click on OK button

6)Click on Close button

7)Now Logoff the machine and Re-Login

Windows 2007 related changes (For loading ActivexControl.dll) :-

1)Go to Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center

2)Click on Change settings

3)Make the settings to Never Notify and click on OK

4)Now restart the system.

5)Kindly revert the setting, after Activex control is loaded or Contract Note is sent.
