Caring – Our Way of Life
I am so glad that you have decided to join us this year! Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. The first Key Club was formed in Sacramento, CA in 1925, but they now exist in almost 5000 high schools all over the world! Key Club is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. As a member of Key Club, you will have the opportunity to perform service projects in our community and in our school, and build character and leadership skills in the process.
Our Key Club is sponsored by our local Kiwanis Club, which is an adult service organization. Some of our activities will be to help at Kiwanis service projects, such as the Forsyth Family Fun Fest, Kids Fishing Event or the Century Challenge Bike Ride, though I am sure you all will come up with many wonderful ideas on your own as well.
To maintain your membership in Key Club, you must pay dues and participate in Key Club's service projects, earning at least 10 service hours (7 of which must be Key Club related) each semester. Dues are $35 and cover our state and national dues and a Key Club t-shirt ($25 if you do not want a t-shirt.) Please fill out the form below and return with your dues (check or cash) and t-shirt money to Mrs. Raines' room (1808) by next Friday, August 26. Checks should be made out to Lambert Key Club and may include both your dues and t-shirt money.

If you have a great idea for a Key Club t-shirt, please submit a drawing to me when you turn in your registration form and dues. We want great-looking t-shirts, and we want them soon! If we choose your design, your t-shirt is free!
