Dear Nobles and Ladies,
I want to thank all the Ladies and Nobles who attended the March Dinner Meeting at Marie Callender’s on the 14th. We had a very good turn out and Helen Morley put on an excellent program for the “Guide Dogs of the Desert.” She had her retired dog named Essie. Chuck, who is blind, had his working dog Bob and the four of them were wonderful as they described the dog training and the amazing things they do for their “Masters.” We had a really good time and, of course, the food was outstanding.
Please read all the information on THE PALM SPRINGS FOLLIES ON THE 2nd PAGE BECAUSE WE WILL BE OFF TO THE DESERT ON MAY 9TH FOR THEIR GREAT PERFOMANCE. THE TICKETS ARE NOW OPEN FOR ANY ONE WHO WANTS TO ATTEND, SO PLEASE GET YOUR RESERVATIONS IN ASAP. WE HAVE TO CLOSE THE BOOKS ON THE TICKETS AND HAVE THEM PAID FOR BY MID APRIL.
We will be meeting again at Marie Callender’s for our April Dinner Meeting on Saturday the 11th at the usual gathering time of 5:30 PM. We will be having dinner around 6:15 PM and I am presently trying to get a presentation lined up for the program.
The fliers for our 21st Annual Golf Tournament are now available and we need to start getting Golfers signed up as soon as possible. Because of the struggling economy, we have decided to stick to the $100 entrance fee and we hope we have a full-house on June the 11th.
