Choir Uniforms
Please be sure you have the following informal uniform items ready to wear on Thursday, October 13th (Fall Concert and BBQ Dinner)
Uniform details:
● Choir Uniform Shirt (ordered through OIS choir dept)
● Nice Long Blue Jeans
● Tennis shoes, flats or Western boots
● You may wear a western bling belt or large belt buckle
Famous Ice Cream Social!
Thursday, September 22nd YUM!
● 3:00-4:00 After School
● In OIS Cafeteria
● Everyone bring an un-opened ice cream topping of your choice to place in the “buffet line”
● No late buses! You must be a car rider picked up promptly at 4:00. (Car rider pick-up in front of school)
● Not a required choir event
● Games, Prizes, Social Time, Spirit Banner, Photos, All you can eat ice cream buffet

Choir Parent Meeting
We need your help as a parent in several areas this year. Please attend the following meeting and get involved with our PAL team (Parent Assistance Leagure)
Tuesday, September 13th at 3:30 p.m. and at 6:00 p.m. in the OIS Choir room
Please park in the back of the school behind the cafeteria.

Fall Informance & BBQ Dinner
Thursday, October 13th
5:30-7:30 p.m.
Oakcrest Intermediate School Cafeteria
This is a required and graded performance for all 6th grade choir students. Dinner will be served on arrival at 5:30 p.m. There will be a cost for dinner ranging from $8.00-$10.00 per person. A dinner order form with further details will be sent home in the next few weeks with pricing (dinner is not a requirement; you may prefer to eat before arriving.)
Our Choir will perform and demonstrate rehearsal techniques for parents. A WWJH Choral Ensemble will be our special performing guests for this evening.
