  • Assist clients with Activity of Daily Living including bathing, oral care, skin care, shampoo, dressing/undressing, help to the bathroom or to use commode or bedpan.
  • Maintain written records of client’s care and condition.
  • Manually or use gate belts for transfer of patients to wheelchair, bed, toilet,and shower.
  • Check client’s pulse, temperature and blood pressure, change colposcopy bag, open wound bandage
  • Monitored and administered medications per physician instructions.
  • Plan nutritious meals for client following their dietary restrictions; shop for groceries, prepare and serve meals
  • Perform a variety of housecleaning duties and laundry; clean and sanitize kitchen and restrooms, vacuum living areas, dust, change bedding, fold laundry and put away.
  • Transport, assist and accompany client to doctors’ offices, shopping or on other trips outside the home.
  • Keep client mentally healthy and alert through conversation, reading aloud or other entertainment.
