We are looking for an EV Powertrain Director for our Client in Finland. You will play a major role in our Client's development and future business of EV powertrain.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and implementing Client's EV strategy
- Responsible for EV powertrain systems manufacturing in Finland
- Take part in developing concepts for new products
- Evaluate technical and economic feasibility
- Coordinate between engineering and manufacturing and launch the products into manufacturing
- Establish the aftermarket business and warranty process
- Proactively seek trends in the electric vehicle market, understand customers’ requirements and develop product concepts as well as provide technological advisory to sales and marketing
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or other relevant subject
- Thorough knowledge of the automotive industry and battery packs development
- Competences in understanding of the interrelations in complex eco-systems and derive implications for battery packs business in a structured way
- Possess good cross-functional leadership skills and negotiation competences
- Open minded for working in an international environment
- Previous management experience providing leadership at all levels of personnel is considered as an advantage
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Fluent in English
- Finnish language skills considered as a benefit
