  1. Reports
  2. President - Scott Painter - Scott read his report.
Added in a Thank you to Nick Drake for the inspiration for the bul on our jerseys. A member asked about the previous paid position that the board had started to plan. Scott and Elana provided the membership the reasons to which we are not moving forward with a paid position at this time. The board would like to save that money for the possibility of a future indoor dome in the area.
  3. Communications - Cam Norman -
Elana read the report on behalf of Cam. A member mentioned that the turf at the Sports complex is much better than before. The other style of turf (rubber pellets) is not as comfortable to to run on.
  4. Convenor- Jamie Bonany
A member commented positively on the live end zones allowing for more use of the field. A member suggested that there be more involvement from members of the league with creating the teams to ensure proper balance. (Captains, a veteran player, a male or female etc.).
  5. Vice President - Andrew Clark
A member discussed the idea of using the connections to the school board that we have in the league to bring more awareness to our Jr’s program.
  6. Treasurer - Alicia Kimberley
A member asked about the GIC Account that we currently have and how much we have total in a GIC. Alicia responded that we have roughly $79,000 in GIC’s.
A member asked why there were issues when PayPal was switched to Stripe. Alicia responded to this by mentioning that the way our league did registration with PayPal was deposited in our account in lump sums, and with Strip it was depositing it with every transaction. This would cost the league a lot of fee’s. Alicia explained how she worked with Strip to adjust the process and allow for a more manageable process.

DISK DRAW- All attending members to the AGM had their names put into a draw for two disks. Winners were Bryan Spekkers and David Tran. Thank you for coming to the AGM.
