Meet our High School Golfers
Coaching Staff – Our Coaches are Adult mentors who believe the benefits of Golf are life-long and work to bring out the individual strengths of the overall athlete. These Coaches are a strong foundation behind our effort and are present at each planning meeting. Their effort extends beyond daily golf practice as they too solicit players, sponsorships, auction items and donations.
Parent Volunteers – The core of our strength comes from Parents and Families who volunteer to craft each segment of the tournament. No job is too little for these supporters who serve as Event Chairman, Treasurer and Registrar nor those who contribute as coordinators in the areas of Food and Beverage, Sponsorships, Public Relations, Auctions, Photography, and On-Course Activities. Pulling it all together is a Volunteer Coordinator who carefully provides each committee with the substance to the success…more volunteer students and families who bring energy and enthusiasm to the process.
Community –Collaborative relationships with sponsors allow us to get off the ground before tee off. Having a Title Sponsor who shares our vision is a key component to a positive outcome. Sponsors can take a more active role by directly participating on a committee or partner by offering specialized services. Community Advocate or Service matching programs within area businesses such as Kohl’s Department Stores and Kroger add to our support staff.

“What a wonderful COMMUNITY event. Krista (Malmstrom, Humble ISD Assistant Athletic Director)and I spoke yesterday about how special that makes us feel that our community comes together for the common good of all schools. I think that is what we are most proud of. Too often every school is out for themselves. We stayed together as a group and through the hard work of our parents we have produced a tournament like no other. We are very proud to be a very small part of the day.”
Troy Kite, Athletic Director, Humble ISD
