1-Read the following text about Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William :
“ Grandmother and grandson :
When Elizabeth was 10 years old, her father was crowned King of England and the family moved to BuckinghamPalace. The young princess didn’t go to school. She was educated at the Palace. She studied all the usual school subjects, plus law, art and music. She particularly liked acting and her favourite sport was horse riding. She was 13 when World War IIstarted. During the German bombing of London in 1940, she stayed in the capital with her family and addressed the children of Britain with a message of courage. It was her first radio broadcast. She was crowned Queen in June 1953, in Westminster Abbey. How old was she then ?
Prince William is second line to the throne, after his father, Prince Charles. Contrary to his grandmother, who studied at home, he went to nursery school when he was three. When he was 13, he went to a famous private secondary school called Eton, and finally to university in Scotland.During the difficult time after his mother died in a fatal
car crash in Paris in 1997, he was admired for his courage.
As a good sportsman, Prince William likes football, rugby, polo and swimming.
Do you like him , Do you think he’s good-looking ?”
