·  Practice Test – 5

3) Don’t forget to have your 39 vocabulary cards for 25 points.

4) You will take a Unit 7A Test on Tuesday for 200 points. Bring 2 #2 pencils and a good eraser.

5) The following assignments were returned. Please look over and hand back for filing:

6) We played a review game. No make up on that.

English 2 Honors:

1) Make a definite push on your Literary Fair entry. Don’t forget that your piece is due Thursday, Jan. 26th, for 50 points. Check the board for specifics and the website for overviews of each kind of acceptable poem type.

2) Receive the grammar handout – Commas with Nonrestrictive Phrases & Clauses 1 – and complete. In addition, identify the POS on sentence #9. See me if you have questions. Keep in GRAMMAR.

3) Be aware of extra credit opportunity: Coffee House.

Jan. 20th, in the Café, from 6:30-10:30

Purchase ticket ahead of time for $6 or at the door for $8.

Attend and sign in – receive 5 points.

5) We played a review game. You will need to write the 10 words – with their definitions – that are hardest for you. Attach to the back of your List 8 work.

6) Prepare for your List 8 Quiz on Tuesday. Don’t forget it’s cumulative! Bring 2 #2 pencils and a good eraser and your List 8 Work for 30 points!
