Freedom of Information Act Request 419480

Thank you for your recent request received 10 November. Your request was actioned under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in which you requested the following:

1.  Can you please give full details of the funding given to PSS to run the Day Centres - Alderwood/ Southway Services & Lancaster House on behalf of Liverpool City Council - [including transport]

2.  Also Liverpool City Councils expenditure for running Alderwood/ Southway Services & Lancaster House for the period - 2012/2013/2014 up until the transfer to PSS. [ including transport ]

3.  How often are the arrangement's between PSS and LCC reviewed.

Response:

Liverpool City Council holds information relevant to your request and can confirm the following:

1.  PSS rate is £44.16 per day. We currently provide 35,612 days across both North and South so the annual funding to PSS will be £1,572,626

2012 / 2013 / 2014
£1,838,480 / £2,121,410 / £2,014,498

·  Please note that transport is currently provided by Liverpool Adult Services transport department and this will remain in place when the service transfers to PSS. The Transport costs are:

Alderwood - £94,333

Lancaster - £177,154

3.  The framework that this service is commissionedfrom is reviewed on a 6 monthly basis by Liverpool Adult Commissioning Team. In addition to this all service users attending the service will receive individual care plan reviews

The City Council will consider appeals, referrals or complaints in respect of your response and these must be submitted these in writing to within 28 days of receiving your response.

The matter will be dealt with by an officer who was not previously involved with the response and we will look to provide a response within 28 working days.

If you remain dissatisfied you may also apply to the Information Commissioner for a decision about whether the request for information has been dealt with in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
