Below is the 2012Commitment Form for you to complete. As in prior years please have your club pro/manager sign the form prior to returning it to me. A scanned document or email confirmation from the club pro is also acceptable as long as all the information is included. If your club sends a team master list, there is no need to return this form.

All pertinent information about the league will beposted on the League Tennis/Captains Northern Oregon page onthe USTA/PNW ( website.

As you may be aware, with the popularity of the league and number of indoor courts it requires to run the league, the goal for this season is to provide8 matches per team.Please take this into consideration when you are forming your teams.

I am going to resume captain’s meetings. The content will be similar to previous year’s meetingswith a few changes for the 2012 season. I have discovered that it never hurts to reinforce rules every captain should know. Last yearthere were several incidents which could have been easily resolved if captains would have been aware of the rules.

The captain’s meeting will be February 4th at 9:30 am at the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) in Portland.The meeting will be held in the ballroom.We will also have more information on the 2013 USTA League restructureat the meeting. If you are not able to attend please appoint another player to represent your team.

2012 USTA League Tennis – Adult Division

USTA League Tennis is continuing to grow in the Pacific Northwest Section. That means it is becoming more challenging to get indoor court times for league play. Tennis club and facility managers are interested in supporting the USTA League program but they need to know what teams are representing their clubs/facilities so they can provide enough court times.

In order to provide equitable scheduling of league matches, it is important that the club/facility be able to provide five (5) court times for each sponsored team.

Please supply the information requested below and get the signature of the manager or tennis pro of the club or facility where you intend to play. Then return the form to me by or before January 10, 2012.
