It is a matter of great pleasure and honor that Archery Association of India has been given the unique privilege to host the first ‘Asia Cup’, Stage I by WorldArchery Asia, which will be organized at New Delhi from 10th to 17th January, 2015.
This event has been given the status of‘World Ranking Tournament’ by World Archery. World Archery rules would be followed in conducting both Recurve and Compound events.
On behalf of Archery Association of India, we extend our warm invitation to your Association to participate in this event.

Note : This preliminary program could be changed slightly according to number of participants. All changes will be published and distributed to all participants in good time.

No Individual and Team Entry Fee would be charged.
Preliminary and Final Registration
All registration process must be done using the World Archery Online Registration System (WAREOS, formerly FORS):
A maximum number of 4 athletes per country are allowed to be registered into each category of the event.
In order to use WAREOS, please login on your Username and Password assigned by World Archery. After entering the WAREOS, please go to "Online Registration" and register your athletes for this event. A "WAREOS User Manual" can be downloaded in PDF format (English) using the same website link.

Please pay attention to the stated deadlines. Teams will not be able to enter or update their data in WAREOS, after the deadlines, as the system will be blocked. If, teams wish to make any changes to their Final Registration, after the deadline, you need to contact Ms Raheleh, Ahadpour, World Archery Member Services Coordinator ().
Final Entries processed after the deadline will result in a penalty fee of 50 Euros per athlete to be paid to the OC upon arrival at the field.
Final registrations that differ by more than 4 athletes from the preliminary registration or have been submitted after the preliminary deadline will result in a penalty fee of 150 Euros to be paid to the OC upon arrival at the field.
Any entries received less than 3 days before the team managers meeting for a World Archery World Cup or World Championships will be refused if no preliminary entry and/or final entry are made prior. This decision cannot be appealed by the teams and is fully compliant with the current World Archery rules, article 3.7.1.2. Entries received after the deadlines, are subject to penalties as clearly stated in the rule book and the invitation documents of World Cups and World Championships. A Member Association that has made final entries in WAREOS and does not participate will be invoiced for the number of entries entered in the system, unless they have informed World Archery and the OC in writing at least one week prior to the event that they are unable to attend.
Accommodation & General Information
The official hotel is Hotel Samrat, Kautilya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi which is very close to the competition venue.

Double roomper night-US $ 180
Single room per night-US $ 140
- The accommodation cost will include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Lunch boxes will be provided at the venue to athletes and teams who do not have time to go to the hotel for lunch.
- Reservations should be made before 30November 2014
- Final Hotel Reservation, Transportation Forms: 22 December2014.
- To confirm the reservation, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required to be bank transferred to the OC before 30 November 2014. All outstanding balances are to be paid, in full by 22 December 2014.
- Reservations after this date will be considered only according to availability.
- Please complete all the necessary forms and arrange full payment for accommodation by the deadline given.
- All participants should book their accommodation through the LOC. Participants that do not book their accommodation through the LOC, will not be entitled to get transportation.
Transportation
- On Arrival, Transportation will operate from Indira Gandhi International(IGI) Airport, Delhi to Hotel from 9th to 11th January, 2015.
- On Departure, Transportation will operate from Hotel to Indira Gandhi International(IGI) Airport from 17th to 19th January, 2015.
- Local transportation will be available between official hotel, competition/practice venue.
Training
A training field will be available starting from 10 January 2015. The training field is adjacent to the competition field.

The general weather condition during the month of January at Delhi is expected to range fromMin – 8°C to Max – 25°C.

The city has an amazingly rich history and culture. Noticeably, Delhi has always enjoyed the status of being a capital city.Many a times the city was built, destroyed and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, a number of Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators. Top Tourist Attractions
Red Fortbuilt by Shahjahan, the builder of Taj Mahal in Agra,named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone. The Red Fort is an iconic symbol of India. On the Independence Day, the Prime Minister of India hoists the national flaghere.
India Gateis a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers who died during the Afghan wars and World War I. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. The cenotaph (or shrine) in the middle is constructed with black marble and depicts a rifle placed on its barrel, crested by a soldier's helmet.

Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions andtimeless spiritual messages.
Around Delhi
The Taj Mahal is a white marblemausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh and just 210 Km away from Delhi. It was built by MughalemperorShah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is one amongst the World’s Wonders. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen.
Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national park in Northern India. The park is located in the southeastern Rajasthan, which is about 364 km from Delhi. It is major wildlife tourist attraction spot that has pulled the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers in this destination.
