A part-time position in the HR department assisting the director with a myriad of responsibilities opened the door to take part in a management training internship in which each department, ranging from Operations to Accounting to IT to Customer Service, was introduced in order to build a complete understanding of the company.

Rapidly advancing from departmental clerk to Administrative Assistant to Accounts Receivable / Customer Service Supervisor required a broad range of skills to be utilized. Organization was key in training; accuracy was key in management reporting; communication was key in customer service. Under my supervision the AR department increased profit recording 10% annually and decreased overhead by $3500.

Without a prior knowledge of sales / use taxes this position provided for a constant learning environment. Organization and leadership skills were necessary in maintaining the successful dynamics of a small office environment.
