Auditions will be during lunch, 7th period, and after school

August 16 through August 24, 2017 in the Band Room at CHIS (D126).

There will be 3 “jazz workshop days” during 7th period on August 14, 15 and 16.

Saxophones, Trumpets, and Trombones:

1.  Play the Concert Bb and Concert Eb Major Scales by memory.

2.  Play the chromatic scale from the lowest note you know to the highest you can play. (You may use a scale sheet or fingering chart to help!)

1.  Demonstrate your ability to tune the strings (with or without using a tuner).
