Essential Duties /Responsibilities:
Perform on-site field investigations to determine the adequacy of signing and pavement marking.
Conduct field reviews to insure conformance to guidelines and installation inspections.
Study traffic operations, accidents, locations, and conditions to develop and review design and procedures.
Implement temporary traffic orders to facilitate the safe execution of works or repairs affecting the highway.
Response to requests received from the public, council departments and external organizations. Provide technical advice on traffic issues.
Design and prepare traffic improvement schemes from outline concept to start of construction.

Essential Duties /Responsibilities:
Ensuring all fire equipments are maintained in accordance with code and procedures.
Continuous monitoring of H2S and other hazardous gases.
Implement HSE standard, statutory, regulation, procedures and safety training to all (as per OSHA, EPA)
Conduct monthly HSE meetings and have monthly HSE Inspection.
Monitor and implement Basic Emergency Response Plan.
Guide and provide direction on project specific safe work plan and monitor its effectiveness.
Work towards eliminating all types of accidents
