Extra Credit Assignment –DBQ: The Battle of Gettysburg

This is an optional assignment for students who want to do extra credit to raise their grade in Social Studies, or who want an extra challenge.

Instructions

  • Please read the instructions carefully before beginning the assignment.
  • This assignment is called a Document Based Question. In it, you will read/view a number of documents that are primary sources and will answer questions about each document. Then, you will write an essay that answers a question about all of the documents.
  • Be sure to answer all questions thoroughly and in complete sentences.
  • Remember to proofread your work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Write your essay neatly on looseleaf paper or type it. Attach your essay to this packet.
