Regular Verbs in the Future Tense

To conjugate the future tense, KEEP THE INFINITIVE , then add the appropriate endings. ALL verbs (–AR, -ER, –IR, irregulars) have the same endings.

Endings Infinitive: Hablar

Yo -é hablaré=I will talk

Tú -ás hablarás=You will talk

Él/Ella/Ud. -á hablará=S/he/you will talk

Nosotros -emos hablaremos=We will talk

Ellos/Uds. -án hablarán=They/you(pl.) will talk

Irregular Future Tense Verbs

These verbs use the SAME ENDINGS as the regulars. The just have irregular stems.

1. Decir= dir- Example: Decir

2. Hacer= har- diré

3. Querer= querr- dirás

4. Poder= podr- dirá

5. Poner= pondr- diremos

6. Saber= sabr- dirán

7. Salir= saldr-

8. Tener= tendr-

9. Venir= vendr-

10. Haber(hay)= habr-
