FLORIDA WINTER ADVENTURE ROWING TOUR
February 4-11, 2017
The Gulf Intracoastal Waterway is an undiscovered gem for distance rowers and a great area for winter training. There is variety from high rises and mansions at Sarasota to mangrove coasts to beautiful shell enriched beaches on the barrier islands (keys). Manatees and dolphins as well as pelicans, herons, egrets, and ibis abound.
N.B.: The Gulf Intracoastal Waterway is quite safe with buoyed navigation channels.
