We are once again fortunate that Dan will be able to present a workshop/info session for parents at 6pm. He will cover same topic as last time and will allow plenty of time for parents to ask questions. Parents will be able to email questions before the day of the workshop or write their question down as they arrive. Members of the school community will plan to share a summary of the day and evening in the newsletter for all to read.
  6. Wodonga Council Community Grant Application – Dale will email details to the PFN. A lot of information is required regarding social engagement, estimated number of volunteers, hours of volunteers. Would be good to have a list of possible school projects and improvements. Will add to the next agenda – PFN Wish List for Grant Applications and items to fundraise for. Could discuss further at our next forum, on the 19th of August. Staff are considering what Sensory Items they could add to a Staff Wish List. Jennyne is investigating quotes for a shelter at the drop off lane.
  1. Parents Skills From Database – Within our school community we have an amazing collection of skilled parents. PFN will now look at how we make our database useable. Idea to include a set Agenda Item – Using our Parent Skill Set so we are regularly thinking about ways parents and friends can help – e.g.: sewing, helping with footy. Online Skill Set Form - Only one interest was able to be selected. Nat to review.

NB: School Volunteers will need to complete a Working with Children Police Check.
