Dear Parent:

The YWCA of Niagara will be providing summer swim classes in the LockportHigh School pool. The summer classes will begin on July 6th and end on July 31st. Classes will be open to all children between the ages of 4-16. Various levels of the American Red Cross Swimming Program will be taught.

You may register directly at the YWCA at 32 Cottage Street, or complete this application and return by mail. Please follow the directions at the bottom of this form. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration for classes will also be conducted at Lockport High School in the foyer outside the auditorium on Wednesday, June 10th and Wednesday, June 17th from 5-7:00pm. Class assignments will be made at this time and are limited in each section. Classes will be taught at the High School pool and are scheduled at 45 minute intervals from 10:00am-1:45pm.

There will be a charge of $55 per child for swimming classes, payable at the time of registration. Classes start on Monday, July 6th and end onFriday,July 31st. All classes will be held Monday through Friday.

IMPORTANT

  1. Swim Program runs from Monday, July 6thto Friday, July31ST.
  2. Sessions last 45 minutes.
  3. ALL ENTRY AND EXIT IS THROUGH LOCUST ST ENTRENCE ONLY.
  4. All swimmers are expected to abide by all pool rules.
  5. Please do not bring valuables or electronics to swimming lessons.
  6. No summer school swimmers are allowed in any other area of the school.
  7. Locker room will open 5 minutes prior to the start of each session.
  8. Swimmers must vacate locker room not more than 10 minutes after the end of the session. Please make transportation arrangements accordingly.
  9. Parents are welcome to observe classes from spectator area only.
  10. Swimmers will ONLY enter the pool deck from the locker rooms.
  11. Access to the spectator area will ONLY be permitted through the spectator area.

Late Registration will be accepted throughout the swimming sessions.

The town will be participating with the

Youth YWCA Swim Program

July 6th thru Julyst at the Lockport High School Pool

Sessions will run for 45 minutes Monday through Friday from 10:00am – 1:45pm. General cost will be $55.00 per swimmer at the Lockport High School Pool. The Town will be providing a coupon for $20.00 off the program registration fee at the Town Clerk’s Office. Please be sure to bring proof of residence. Registration will be the first week in May at the YWCA on a first come, first served basis. Questions may be directed to the YWCA at 433-6714.
