GENERAL FEIS INFORMATION MAY 28, 2012


Our Feis will be held on June 9, 2012, at Brick Township High School, 346 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick, New Jersey, 08724.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS A DIFFERENT LOCATION THAN IN YEARS PAST

It is very important that you bring your competitor card with you to the Feis since you will not be able to participate without it. Individuals who do not bring their card and require a replacement on the day of the Feis will be charged a $4.00 replacement fee.

Our Feis will start promptly at 8:30 a.m., and we request that dancers in Open Competitions #410, #411, #412, #413, 418, and #419 be assembled and ready to compete at that time. Start times are as follows:

8:30 a.m.

Gymnasium / Cafeteria / Auditorium
#410, #411, #418, #419 / #412 / #413

v  First Feis and Beginners – 9:15 a.m. (Gymnasium)

v  Advanced Beginners – 9:45 a.m. (Gymnasium)

v  Novice – Not before 11 a.m. (Gymnasium) Then LUNCH BREAK

v  Traditional Sets- #601, #602, #603, and #604 following Lunch(Gymnasium)

v  Prizewinners – Not before 1:30 p.m. (Gymnasium)

v  Treble Reels- #701, # 702/703/704 (Combined) Last events of day (Gymnasium)

v  Preliminary Championships – 10:00 a.m. (Cafeteria) Competitions # 400 and #401 will start at 10:00 a.m. Subsequent Preliminary competitions will run in consecutive (age) numerical order. Dancers in Preliminary Championships must sign in upon arrival at the registration desk in the cafeteria.

v  Open Competitions- Auditorium starting with #413 at 8:30 a.m. followed by #414, then LUNCH BREAK. Lunch will be followed by Boys #420 and #421 combined which will be followed by #423. Following the boys competitions will be competition # 415 and #416.

Preliminary and Open Championship marks will be available on the day of the Feis. All other marks will be mailed to competitors as soon as possible, but within ten days. There is no charge for mailing of marks.
