Poster Application Guidelines and Responsibilities
Your acceptance of the guidelines and responsibilities is required for your poser presentation to be confirmed for the SWPONL 2015 Fall Conference for Nurse Leaders.
- All components of the poster application must be typed; handwritten materials will not be accepted.
- All application materials must be submitted electronically via email.
- A complete application packet includes:

Completed Contact information for Primary Author and Co-Presenters.
Abstract that is not to exceed 300 words; 11pt ARIAL FONT
- I will register for and attend the conference and will present my poster according to the exhibit dates and times.
- I understand and agree to abide by the SWPONL policies prohibiting any sales activity, direct and/or indirect solicitation, and any marketing messages from being conducted in the sessions.
- I agree to check in at the conference registration desk within the 60 minutes prior to registration on Thursday, September 3, 2015 and will set up my poster during that time frame.
- Any co-presenters associated with my poster who attend the SWPONL Fall Conference for Nurse Leaders are responsible for registration fees and all other expenses incurred.
- A poster display board will be provided. You are responsible for bringing your own mounting supplies (i.e., push pins, binder clips, Velcro)
- If appropriate, you may provide copies of your abstract/poster presentations as handouts for the poster sessions.
I have read SWPONL’s Poster Presenter Guidelines & Responsibilities and agree to all terms.

The abstract should contain the following:
a)Poster title – represents the poster’s primary concept and content of the poster
b)Identification of the problem, issue, or project in the first paragraph
c)A brief description of the manner with the study, problem, issue, or project was addressed
d)A description of the findings, conclusions, or solutions.
e)An evaluation of the relevance of this study, innovations or strategy to nursing leadership and how it might apply to other settings.
