SALARIED GP VACANCY
8 session salaried GP post from August 2014.
We are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our team at the Dove Valley Practice.
Replacing a retiring senior partner who holds special interests in IUCD’s/women's health, diabetes and training/medical education. It would be desirable, but not essential, to replace some of these skills.
The Dove Valley Practice has 11,300 patients and 6.3 full time equivalent GPs.
Our main surgery is in the Worsbrough Lift building with a branch surgery at Gold St, near Barnsley town centre.
We are high QoF achievers and participate in many local LES's and national DES's.
We are a training practice and also take undergraduate medical and nursing students.
Many of the GPs have special interests and this would be encouraged, and supported, in the successful applicant. Some of the services offered currently include:
· Substance misuse shared care.
· Research.
· Dermatology and minor ops.
· Travel clinic.
· Teaching and training.
·
We use EMIS web and are paper-lite.
