12:30 – 12:45 pm Introductions and Opening

Ms. Livingston shared a video with the group – The story of Clyde
Mr. Shockney shared celebrations from October and November

u Goal and objective PD to all special educators in August

u School, group, and individual PD from supervisors, IC’s, and resource staff

1:00 – 2:15 PARCC Updates
Gregg Bricca, Director Research and Accountability CCPS
Mr. Bricca shared the 2016 PARCC Assessment Results for CCPS

In addition, he suggested that everyone view their schools Improvement Plan on CCPS website.
Lisa Busher, Supervisor Research and Accountability CCPS
Ms. Busher explained there is a difference between classroom accommodations and PARCC testing accommodations and the need to understand the difference.

2:30 – 3:00 PARCC Advisory: How do we get information to families?

Mr. Shockney asked the advisory committee to identify how can we communicate more effectively about the difference between IEP accommodations and accommodations available for students who take PARCC
