You may choose either aposter, Powerpointor diorama (3-d display) about a specific Georgia Habitat. The 5 habitats to choose from are mountains, piedmont, coastal plain, marsh/swamp, or ocean. The following are required to receive full credit.
The diorama should include:
- A covered shoebox
- Name of habitat (example: Swamp, Piedmont, etc.)
- Labeled land features (example: sand, blue paint for water, mountains, etc.)
- 3 Plants (labeled)
- 3 Animals (labeled)
- Your name
The poster or Powerpoint should include:
- Name of Habitat
- Description of the location
- 3 labeled animals
- 3 labeled plants
- 3 interesting facts
- Include 3 or 4 drawings/photos
- Must be neat and colorful!
- Your name
You can use the outline (on the back of this sheet) as you research your habitat; however, do not turn this in as your final project.
Please notice the due date. Each day the project is late, 10 points will be deducted.
