McLAUGHLIN, John: List of issued recordings

compiled by Johann Haidenbauer

------

This list provides a comprehensive overview of John McLaughlin's
work. It contains records released under his own name as well as
his sessions and productions. The list is in chronological order
where the year refers, in general, to the recording date. All
items are in LP format unless stated otherwise. CD (re-)issues are
preceeded by an *. Note that compilations of otherwise available
material and repackages have been not included in this list.
There are presumably several more records with John McLaughlin.
Some possibilities are,
+ recordings as session musican in UK in the 1960s.
+ tapes and films (videos) with the Sri Chinmoy Community in
the early to mid 1970s (in USA).
+ 7" single releases from the Mahavishnu Orchestra era.
+ Brian Knight's LP 'Good time down the road' which supposedly
features a John McLaughlin on guitar.
and I would appreciate if anyone could provide informations
on those topics.
I would like to thank Volker Borchert, David Graham, Joern
Kruempelmann, Pierre Montalbano, Duffy Power, and Steven Roche
for their help and encouragement with this discography.
Please direct any additions, corrections, etc. to:
