Fellow Bruin,

Congratulations! You have taken the first step to being part of the Fall 2016 Student Advisory Board. The Student Advisory Board provides a unique leadership opportunity for students to serve their peers, their programs, and their community. You will be expected to bring student feedback to a monthly, two-hour meeting involving the Vice President of Enrollment Management. In addition, the student who is elected to serve as the Board of Governors representative will be expected to attend monthly, three hour Board of Governors meetings. By volunteering to hold one of these positions, you will help to make sure that the student body’s voice is heard. Please help us in expanding opportunities for all BRCTC students. We are looking for dedicated and passionate students who are ready to work hard and make a difference on this campus.

Attached are the position descriptions and application for the Student Advisory Board. We hope you take the time to submit an application for any of the positions you feel qualified to represent. Applications for these positions are due by May 9, 2016.
