Statement: It is a privilege and an honor to represent you in the State Senate. My husband and I have raised five wonderful children in the Tri-Cities. Three of our children live in the Tri-Cities because this is a great place to live, work and play. I am deeply committed to our community and to being your voice in the Legislature.
As a State Senator I have pushed for fiscal responsibility in state government, advocated for legislation to reduce regulatory burdens on small business, and introduced legislation to reduce utility rates in the Tri-Cities.
My top priorities are to create and protect local jobs, fight higher taxes, and support Hanford and the diversification of businesses in this district. Government regulations and high taxes are killing jobs in the state and our local community. I will continue my efforts to eliminate and reduce regulatory burdens on small business, and I will fight against higher taxes. Our families have to live within their means, and so should the state.
You can count on me to represent you in the State Legislature, and to protect your rights and freedoms granted under our Constitution. I would be honored to receive your vote.

Our revenue continues to grow each year, so it is imperative that we find ways to do business more efficiently, not do more with less, instead we must learn to work smarter.

K-12 Education, empower the teachers with more tools, safe, reasonable class sizes. Pass substantial Transportation Package that addresses both new, maintenance and preservation projects. Not pass unfunded mandates to the cities and counties. Place greater emphasis on the support of the Agriculture and Agriculture related business, ensuring they have the tools and manpower to grow.
