Those players entering the Learning Disabilities Classes must complete the Player Rating Form and return with the entry form and fee.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Please note that play will commence on the Saturday at 9.30 am.
- Classification will take place on Saturday at 9 am for those players who have not been classified before or who have been specifically asked to attend.
- The organising committee reserve the right to combine categories if required.
- The tournament will be run under the regulations of BWF and BADMINTONscotland standard regulations, and the decision of the Referee will be final.
- All players must be affiliated to Badminton Scotland.
- All players must be a permanent resident of Scotland or qualified to represent Scotland under BWF regulations on Nationality.
- The coaching of players during events will follow BWF guidelines.
- All Group games and semi-finals – 1 set with no extended scoring / Final - 3 sets with extended scoring for both PD and LD sports classes (time permitting)
- Please remember that photography is only permitted at the event if you have obtained permission from the Referee. People wishing to do so may request a permit from match control.
- Players, Coaches, Officials, Parents and Volunteers shall be expected to abide by their governing bodies ‘Code of Conduct’. Please ensure you refer to these conditions prior to the event.
- LD classified athletes will not be accepted without a responsible coach/individual nominated and present throughout the tournament.
- Please note that in ALL situations, the Referee’s decision shall be final.

Code of Conduct
The aim of BADMINTONscotland is to create a lively sporting environment, and to promote the spirit of the game, through the exclusion of unethical behaviour, which will not be tolerated.
I the athlete/coach and volunteer agree to the following:
- Treat all others as you would like to be treated, with integrity politeness and admiration.
- Practice, play and spectate within the spirit of the game.
- Help each other to learn new skills.
- Compete as individuals and partners.
- Give respect to others – coaches, officials, other players, team managers, parents who help organise/ officiate and play the sport.
- Accept final decisions from event referee and court umpires and officials.
- Do not direct verbal, physical, emotional abuse towards opponents/coaches/umpires/partners/event organisers/spectators & other team members.
- Arrive 30 minutes before the start of play each day to ensure adequate preparation and to be punctual on all occasions, inform event organisers of any injuries which cause you to withdraw from matches.
- Respect when officials are working and that their busy role in assisting with the event delivery may make them inaccessible at some times.
- Respect that the taking of photographs is to be carried out only with the appropriate accreditation and at times that are appropriate during the event or highlighted by the event organisers so as not disturbing competitors or officials.
