Program Title: Digital Camera Basics

Major Goal: Students will learn the meaning and application of common terms and controls of SLR-type digital
Amount of Time to Learn the Content: 2 hours
System Requirements: Internet ready computer, browser w/ java enabled, 56k dial-up, Flash player 7.0, audio card, and speaker.
2. Program Description
Characteristics of Target Learners:
This courseware is designed for adult learners, aged between 17-80. Students will need basic computer skills, the ability to use a web browser; as well as an Single Lens Reflex style digital camera and some basic photography knowledge. A high school reading ability is needed in order to make the most of the lesson.
Instructional objectives:
- Students will demonstrate an ability to name and describe the functions of the camera controls of a single lens reflex digital camera.
- Students will define common terms used in digital photography.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to make adjusments to the ISO, mode, quality, white balance, and release methods of their digital cameras.
- Students will demonstrate an ability to adjust the shuter speed and aperture of their digital camera.
