58TH ANNUAL BOONE COUNTY USBC CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRY FORM

SPONSORED BY FLAT TIRE LOUNGE AND TIGER BOWL LANES

This year there is a one division 4 person team event, with open and women’s divisions in the doubles and singles event and a mixed doubles event. All events will be bowled at Tiger Bowl in Madrid on the 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th of February. Shift times will be 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Saturdays and 11:00 AM on Sundays. Shifts will not be restricted to any one event, you may bowl any event on any shift. Please clearly mark shift, event and division on the entry blank. Anyone may bowl in the open division and only women may bowl in women’s doubles and singles event. Women may bowl in both the open and women’s doubles and singles divisions. Bowlers may compete on different teams, but must change at least two team members. An optional All Events will count your first score in the team event and your doubles and singles score. All current USBC Members are eligible to bowl in this tournament. Entry closing date is Feb 13th, 2017.

Sponsor and individual plaques awarded to winning Team. Plaques awarded to winners of the Doubles and Singles, and All Events. President’s Plaque awarded for high scratch series. Secretary’s Plaque to high scratch game. Tournament Secretary’s Plaques for high handicap series and game of tournament. Manager’s Plaque to high scratch all events score of tournament (must be entered in all events).

USBC playing Rule 319d and 319e (Reporting Prior Prize Winnings and Average Adjustment for Entry) do not apply to this Tournament.
All current adult members of USBC are eligible to bowl in this tournament.
This tournaments consists of three divisions (Open, Women and mixed). Participants may bowl more than once in team and mixed doubles event. Must change two members of team or one member of mixed doubles.
Bowl only once in each division’s (Open and Women’s) doubles & singles events.
Cash prizes – All events awarded on a handicap basis.

Prize fee returned: 100% per each event.

Prize ratio: 1 for 5 entries for each team, and doubles & singles event, 1 for 15 entries in All Events.

Use highest USBC average (at least 21 games) for 2015-2016 season. If no 2015-2016 USBC average, use highest current average of at least 21 games bowled prior to the start of the Tournament. All others must bowl scratch. Handicap is 90% difference of average from 220 with no maximum. USBC Playing Rule 319a, Item 2 (10 pin rule) does not apply. The remainder of 319a does apply.
In case of a protest, call the Tournament Director (230-1109) at once.
USBC Playing Rule 314 shall apply. After an entry has been received, and the dates assigned by tournament director are not refused before preparation of the schedule, the entry will not be refunded.
Tardy bowlers (bowlers not present and/or ready to bowl at scheduled start time) must start with frame then in progress when bowler arrives and is ready to bowl, with no score for frames missed).
All other USBC tournament rules as stated in the USBC Playing Rules Book, current edition, apply.
Awards Banquet time and place will be announced during tournament.
