INCIDENT:-
Sh. Jitender Aggarwal s/o Suresh Aggarwal reported that he owns a godown near Goel Farm House , Badshah Road, Khera Kalan, Delhi for storing paper bundles. On 21.9.11, he found that the shutter of the godown was broke open and approximately 105 bundles of papers were stolen. A case vide FIR No 355/11 u/s 457/380 IPC PS S.P.Badli was registered accordingly.
In view of the recent spurt in burglary, a dedicated team comprising of SI Jai Kumar, HC Begh Raj No 103/OD, Const Pawan 2115/OD and Cost Deepak 2531/OD was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Dharamvir Singh, SHO/S.P.Badli to identify the criminals operating in Outer District and other adjoining areas. The members of the team worked relentlessly and the hard work ultimately paid rich dividend when a gang of desperate burglars was nabbed on the basis of a specific secret information. On 25.9.11, the members of the team were present in Siraspur for the search of the accused persons and case property. There was information regarding the movement of Tempo No. DL 1LK-3757 make TATA 409 laden with stolen bundles of papers being taken for the disposal. The truck was stopped and the six persons were found sitting on the bundles of papers inside the tempo. The driver and the 6 other occupants were overpowered. They disclosed their names as Rajesh Paswan, Ajit @ Cheeku, Aman @ Babu, Santosh, Rakesh, Rampat, and Raj Kumar @ Raju. On sustained interrogation, they confessed that they had stolen these bundles of papers from a Godown near Goel Farm House, Khera Kalan in the jurisdiction of P.S S.P.Badli. All the 7 accused were arrested and 73 bundles of stolen papers alongwith the Tempo were seized. They had kept the stolen papers in the godown of Rakesh Dass and were taking the papers to dispose off in Chawri Bazar, Delhi.
INTERROGATION/MODUS OPERANDI:-
On sustained interrogation, accused Rajesh Paswan disclosed that he had come out from jail on 18/05/11 and organized a formidable gang by associating Ravi Mandal @ Bangali, Ajeet @ Cheeku, Santosh, Aman @ Babu, Ajay, Rajeev, Manga, Nand Kishore, Sovinder, and Parveen. Aman @ Babu was also released from Jail on 17.08.11. They started committing burglaries by targeting the godowns situated in the desolated areas and residential houses in the area of PS S.P.Badli, PS Bawana and Prashant Vihar. During the last three months, they had committed more than 20 burglaries in these areas. They used to congregate at desolated areas after reconnaissance. Rajesh Paswan and Ravi Mandal @ Bangali used to identify the targets. Rampat used to bring the TATA-409 Tempo owned by his brother. The stolen goods were carried by them at two rented godowns in Siras Pur, taken on rent by the accused Rakesh Dass. They used to store the stolen goods for disposal by their associate Bhura Kabadi. On the instances of accused persons the other stolen articles were recovered from their rented godowns
Two/three members of the gang used to stand outside the godown just to keep an eye on some movement. Rest of the gang members used to break open the shutter of the godown and load the stolen property in the tempo.
The stolen property was disposed off by Bhoora Kabari, Ravi Mandal @ Bangali and the cash amount was proportionately divided amongst them. Accused Bhoora and Rajesh Paswan had recently purchased two motorcycles from the booty of their share of stolen property. Bhoora Kabadi used to provide the Santro car to the members of the gang for conducting recce of the area.

1.Rajesh Pawan aged about 22 years s/o Kewal Paswan r/o Vill Daboli PS Gaighat Distt Mujaffarpur Bihar present address Gali No 2 Krishna Pandit ka makan Siraspur, Delhi is a married and uneducated. He came to Delhi 4 years ago and worked as a labour. He was arrested in a godown burglary case vide FIR No. 89/11 u/s 457/380/411/34 IPC PS S.P.Badli. He was released from Jail in this case on 18.05.11.
2.Raj Kumar @ Raju aged about 20 years s/o Ram Asray r/o Gram Bahroli, Thana Nagrao, Distt Lucknow, UP, present address- Gali No 7, opposite MCD School, Chotu ka Makan, Siraspur, Delhi. He is uneducated and unmarried. He came to Delhi in the year 2001 and started working in a book shop. He later worked as a driver and started committing burglaries.
3.Ajeet @ Cheeku aged about 26 years s/o Rajender Mandal r/o Vill Jamal Pur PS Poorvi Colony Distt Munger Bihar, present address Opposite Badli Shauchalya jhuggi Badli Industrial area Delhi. He is studied upto 5th standard. He came to Delhi 3-4 month ago and joined the gang.
4.Santosh aged about 21 years s/o Khokhaye Mandal r/o Vill Ghadel Sultan Pur PS Amar Pur, Distt Banka Bihar, present address Gali No 7 Chhotu ka makan Siraspur, Delhi. He is unmarried & studied upto 3rd standard. He came to Delhi 5 months ago and worked in Azad Pur Subzi Mandi. He later joined the gang.
5.Aman @ Babu aged about 41 years s/o Gujrati Mian r/o Vill Purenia P.O Pindari PS Menatat Distt Paschimi Champaran Bihar, present address E-2634 JJ colony Bawana Delhi. He is married and divorced. He had worked as a Munshi of some advocate also. He was previously involved in 6 cases of burglary and house theft and was released from Jail o 17.08.11.
6.Ram pat aged about 22 years s/o Ravinder Rai r/o Vill Rumnagara, PS Reega, Distt Sitamani, Bihar, present address- Aman Arora ki dukan Siras pur Gali No 2, Delhi. He is married and studied upto 2nd class. He came to Delhi ten years ago. He had worked as driver.
7.Rakesh Dass aged about 41 years s/o Raghav Dass r/o Vill Mahali, PS Shiv Dhar, Distt Shivadhar, Bihar, present address- E-124, Yadav Nagar, Delhi. He is married having wife and five children.

Two Auto lifters/snatchers arrested by Anti-Snatching Cell, Outer District

BRIEF FACTS:-
With the arrest of Manish @ Nepu S/o Mahavir Singh R/o H. No.A-48,Jwalapuri, Delhi & Omprakash @ Chhotu S/o Ram Babu R/o Jhuggi No. 2-A/95,Akhade Wali Gali, Geeta Colony, Delhi, Anti- Snatching Cell, Outer District has worked out 04 cases of M.V Theft of P.S. K.N. Katju Marg and one case of Snatching of PS Bawana.
INCIDENT:-
The Motor Cycle Hero Honda Splendor Plus bearing registration No DL-8S-AD-0365, was reported stolen vide case FIR No. 372/11 u/s 379 IPC PS K.N KatjuMarg, Bajaj Pulsar Motor Cycle bearing registration No DL-8S-AC-7849, was reported stolen vide case FIR No. 347/11 u/s 379 IPC,PS K.N KatjuMarg, Bajaj Pulsar Motor Cycle bearing registration No DL-8S-AQ-5537, was reported stolen vide case FIR No. 370/11 u/s 379 IPC,PS K.N KatjuMarg, Royal Enfield Motor Cycle bearing registration No DL-8S-NA-4679, was reported stolen vide Case FIR No. 387/11 u/s 379 IPC, PS K.N Katju Marg. The mobile phone make Spice had been snatched in the area of PS-Bawana and case FIR No268/11 u/s 356/379/34 IPC, PS Bawana had been registered in this regard.
INVESTIGATION/INTERROGATION:-
A team of Anti-Snatching Cell Outer District, Delhi comprising of Inspector Surender Singh Rathee, SI Ajay Karan Sharma, SI Sumit Kumar,Ct. Mahesh Ct. Rajesh and Ct. Satender Maanunder under the close supervision of Sh. VedPrakash, ACP Operations, Outer District were checking the vehicles in front of CNG Pump Station near Metro Walk, Sector-11 Rohini, Delhi on 26.09.11. At around 1.00 PM, two persons later on identified as Manish @ Nepu S/o Mahavir Singh R/o H. No.A-48, Jwalapuri, Delhi & Omprakash @ Chhotu S/o Ram Babu R/o Jhuggi No. 2-A/95, AkhadeWaliGali, Geeta Colony, Delhi came on a Black colour Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle No. DL-8S-AC-7849. Accused Manish @ Nepu s/o Mahavir Singh was riding the motorcycle while Omprakash @ Chotu was pillion rider. They were stopped by the police party. They could not produce any documents relating to the ownership of the motorcycle. On sustained interrogation/enquiry, they revealed that the Motor Cycle was stolen from the area of P.S. K.N Katju Marg. The motorcycle was found to be stolen vide Case FIR No. 347/11 u/s 379 IPC P.S. K.N. KatjuMarg, Delhi. They were arrested u/s 41.1(D)/102 Cr.PC. From the possession of accused Om Prakash @ Chhotu, one Mobile phone was recovered. He revealed that it was snatched from the area of PS-Bawana. Case FIR No. 268/11 u/s 356/379/34 IPC P.S.Bawana, Delhi was found registered in this regard.At the instances of both the accused persons, three more stolen motor cycles were recovered from an open park situated in the area of Jwalapuri, Delhi.
MODUS OPERANDI :-
Both the accused in order to secure some source of income started stealing Motor Cycles and snatching Mobile phones etc. Accused Manish @ Nepu is a B.C of the area of PS Miyanwali, and previously involved in 7 cases of robbery and auto lifting, while accused Omprakash @ Chotu is a ruffian of the area of PS Geeta Colony and previously involved in 3 cases of auto lifting and Arms Act. Both accused used to conduct recci in the targeted area such as residential and market areas on some pretext or the other to get an idea of the entry and escape route for commission of snatching and stealing Motor Cycles. They used to identify soft targets like house wives/office goers. Both the accused had kept the motorcycles with them in order to sell them off to some appropriate customer at a convenient time.

Arms manufacturer cum supplier arrested with battery of country made pistols and ammunition
With the arrest of desparate arms manufacturer and supplier Shamim s/o Shakil R/o Vill Baghra P.S. Titawi, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, U.P. aged 44 years, South-East Distt. police has prevented supply of illegal arms ammunition in Delhi area.
Team and Investigation :-
In order to prevent the crime in South-East Delhi, the team of Anti-Auto Theft Squad, South-East District was instructed to make their active presence in crime prone areas. In view of this, on 23.09.2011 a team comprising of SI Ajai Kumar, ASI Tarachand, HC Kailash Chand No. 270/SE, HC Farooq No. 2204/SE, Ct. Vipin Kumar Tyagi No. 702/SE, Ct. Deep Chand No. 3246/SE and Ct. Ravinder Giri No. 1795/SE, under the supervision of Sh. Virender Kalia, ACP/Operationwas present at Nizamuddin Railway Station Ring Road Side. An informer provided information to Ct. Vipin Tyagi regarding supply of country made pistols and ammunition. On the basis of information, the team apprehended Shamim s/o Shakil and on his search four country made pistols were recovered from the bag carried by the accused and one country made pistol with six live cartridges of .315 bore were recovered from his possession.
Interrogation and Modus-operandi :-
On interrogation, the accused disclosed that he belongs to a poor family of Muzaffarnagar and is 10th fail. He took training of manufacturing weapons from a local manufacturer and used to manufacture illegal weapons. He used to sell weapons to different criminals to earn good money. On further interrogation, he disclosed that 5/6 years back he was apprehended by local police of PS Titawi, Muzaffarnagar, U.P. and 15 country made pistols were recovered from him. He also disclosed that in the year 2010 he was arrested by the police of PS Raipur, Distt. Dehradun, (Uttarakhand) and forged currency and 16 country made pistols along with stolen m/cycle were recovered from him. He managed to get the bail and again indulged in manufacturing of illegal arms and ammunition.
Profile of accused :-
Accused is the eldest son of his parents amongst six daughters and two sons. He studied up to 10th class and left the school when could not pass 10th class. He started manufacturing country made pistol when he came in contact of his “Fufa”, who was already involved in the same profession of manufacturing and selling country made pistols. He was arrested by the local police of PS Titawi, Muzaffarnagar, U.P. and was sent to jail. After returning from jail he started his own shop of general store for some time. He got married and again started manufacturing and selling country made pistols. In 2010 he was again arrested by the police of PS Raipur, Distt. Dehradun, (Uttarakhand).
Recoveries:-
5 country made pistols of .315 bore
6 live cartridges of .315 bore
Further raids are being conducted in search of the co-accused. He was produced before Saket Courts and sent to judicial custody by the Court.

TWO DESPERATE ROBBERS CUM SNATCHERS ARRESTED, THREE CASES OF ROBBERY AND SNATCHING SOLVED OUT, ROBBED GOLD CHAIN, MOBILE PHONE AND MOTOR CYCLE RECOVERED
With the arrest of two desperate robbers cum snatchers namely Gaurav @ Kittu s/o Rajesh r/o House of Ganesh, Theke wali Gali, Gali No.6, PS Karawal Nagar, Delhi aged 24 years and Anoop @ Bholu @ Julfi s/o Bharat Singh r/o F-block, Gali no.4, House of Jaiprakash, PS Karawal Nagar, Delhi aged 22 years, the North East District Police has solved out three cases of robbery and snatching. Robbed motorcycle, mobile phone and snatched gold chain recovered from them.
TEAM:-
To put a check on the incidents of snatching & robberies especially during evening hours, emphasis is being given to foot/group patrolling as well as by m/cycles round the clock. Extensive drive of vehicles checking has been initiated by the way of establishing anti-snatching & robberies pickets and stranger roll drive in the area. Police staff in plain cloths has also been deployed for the same. Sincere efforts are also being made for criminal intelligence through eyes and ears scheme. During this exercise, various suspects are being interrogated and listed criminals of same modus operandi are being grilled. As a result, notorious criminals i.e. robbers, snatchers and auto lifters have been apprehended by the District police recently.
