SPONSORSHIP PROFILE: MONTHLY NETWORKING BREAKFASTS
The Purpose of the Networking Breakfast
The Networking Breakfasts are the single most popular event on the monthly calendar of the Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism and are primarily focussed on providing business people with an opportunity to network with their counterparts in the business community and to provide a platform for expanding business contacts. The average attendance of these meetings is between 45 and 85 members. Sponsorship of this event is not limited to members only and is available to companies and businesses locally as well as outside the Mbombela jurisdiction. The latter ensures a healthy, informative and competitive environment for all.
Topics presented at a KLCBT networking breakfast should be follow the following guidelines:
· Business owners should benefit from receiving such information;
· Business owners should be able to either apply or learn from such information;
· You should make use of this platform to create an interest in your product or service.
Format of the Networking Breakfast
The event takes place from 07h30 to approximately 09h30 and takes the following format:
Welcome & Introduction of guest speaker(s)
/sponsor by the KLCBT Chairperson: 5 minutes
Guest/sponsor slot: 30min (including question time if applicable)
Sponsorship Summary
1. Cost to sponsor: R4950.00 Incl. VAT This includes the facilitation fee
2. Breakfast charged @ rate quoted by conference venue.
3. Sponsor’s banners/promotional material to be displayed at the venue
4. Attendance list with contact details is made available to the sponsor
5. The facilitation fee includes:
- KLCBT design the invite
- disseminate the invitations as wide as possible on a regular basis;
- handle all RSVP’s
- attendance registers;
- name tags;
- venue;
- AV & Sound bookings for the function;
- follow-ups and invoicing where applicable;
- invite the local newspaper for media coverage of the event
6. Sponsor has to provide KLCBT with the details of the Presentation This includes, but is not limited to:
· Topic
· Content of presentation – prior to approval and confirmation of the event.
· Company Logo
· Speaker Details
· 3 selling points (Why people should attend) what’s in it for them? How the information will benefit their businesses?
· What’s in it for them? How the information will benefit their businesses?
· Who should attend?
· Outcomes of presentation
· All of this info has to reach the KLCBT a minimum of at least 4 weeks before the event in order to ensure sufficient marketing
Benefits of Sponsorship
The benefits of sponsoring a networking breakfast is that it provides companies with a captive audience and enables the company to provide specific and targeted information to members of the business community. In addition, it provides a key opportunity for the company brand to be displayed at the event, thereby building brand awareness.
It provides an opportunity for one-on-one consultation and for follow up due to the availability of the attendance list with contact details of attendees.
