Objectives and Motivation
Nowadays energy systems are going to be more and more smarter from the past. All system elements can share their data in order to operate the system efficiently. In such systems, internet of thing (IoT) has a crucial role by providing the reliable data transfer of system elements. In susch systems, the energy can be consumed more efficiently and all the sysetm parameters can be conserved in the desired values. In this specail session, we want to discuss about the role of IoT in modern smart energy systems.
Scope and Interest
This session is an opportunity for researchers working in the field of IoT and smart energy systemstoshare their new ideas, thoughts, and findings. The session invites new research articles including, but not limited to, the following topics:
- IoT protocols and architectures for smart grids and smart energy systems
- Cyber Security for Smart grids & IoT
- IoT applications and servicesin the context of smart grids
- Vehicle and Mobile technologies and their applications in IoT. For energy management in smart energy systems
- IoT applications in smart homes and smart cities
