Agfa Graphics’Application Zone Comes to Graph Expo 2012
“Six Strings Classic Blues Lounge” showsa myriad of real-world print applications produced on wide-format inkjet
Elmwood Park, NJ– October 5, 2012 –Agfa Graphics (booth #627) will be showing and demonstrating several new and leading products and services at Graph Expo 2012 as well as showcasing real-world wide-format inkjet output.
How will Agfa Graphics follow up last year's sensational Graph Expo Application Zone? With the “Six Strings Classic Blues Lounge.”
Agfa Graphics’ new Application Zone will demonstrate how powerful messages can be easily and efficiently produced using inkjet printing systems. The “Six Strings Classic Blues Lounge” pays homage to a New Orleans Jazz nightclub and will be the centerpiece of the booth.

The back office of Six Strings Classic Blues Lounge is where attendees will see the new :Apogee StoreFront in action. :Apogee StoreFront is a cloud-based ecommerce solution that enables print service providers (PSPs) to market their services and products more efficiently. StoreFront is integrated into Six Strings to demonstrate how easy it is to replenish branded and decorative items, printed materials, paper goods and other consumables on demand directly from their print service provider. The “manager” of Six Strings will show how simple it is to order printed and non-printed items to run the business, from custom cocktail napkins to complex personalized announcements to business cards as well as beer glasses and coasters.
Many of the projects created in the Application Zone were produced using the media and printing systems that are on display elsewhere in the Agfa Graphics booth, including the :Anapurna M2540 FB and the :Jeti 3020 Titan.The :Anapurna M2540 FB is aflatbed UV inkjet printing system specifically designed for printing on rigid substrates. The :Jeti 3020 Titan is a field-upgradeable inkjet system that can grow with increased business demands from 16- to 48-head configurations and a flat-to-roll option.
