Brief Bio:
Bob Donchez joined the faculty at the University of Colorado in 1999 after working in finance at Salomon Brothers on Wall Street and at IBM World Trade. Bob earned a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University, and an MBA from Fordham University – meeting degree requirements for majors in both Finance and Marketing.
Bob teaches a wide-variety and levels of courses, from sophomore to MBA level finance classes, and in the CUBIC and Business of Sports Certificate Programs.
At the Leeds School of Business, Bob sits on the Scholarship Committee; is Faculty-Undergrad Liaison advising students on career pursuits; has mentored and sat on Teaching Excellence Committees; been faculty advisor to Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity during its re-colonization; and served as faculty director for the student-run Trep Café. He also sat on athletic department search committees for both the Business and Operations Managers positions in addition to his involvement meeting with prospective student-athletes
His current business interests are as the managing partner of a real estate investment group, and partner in Echo Brewing Company, a Frederick, Colorado – based microbrewery.
He previously served as President - Rocky Mountain Joint Board Workers United/SEIU responsible for strategic direction, policy, and contract negotiations for 2200 member service union employees in the Rocky Mountain West / F Contact

Teaching Interests:
Corporate finance; valuations of publicly-traded corporations and analysis and determinants of fair value; capital budgeting and real options valuations; financial markets and their operations, designs, and efficiencies; securities fraud cases; business of sports.

Little Known Fact:
Bob helped pay his way through college as a Sports Writer for The Globe-Times and Sports Director of WLRV radio, both in Bethlehem, PA
