·Initiated and established Naguru Teenage Information and Health Center, a youth clinic in a government health unit in November 1994.
This youth clinic the first of its kind in the country provides Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Services to young people. Over the years this youth clinic has grown to be recognized as a model for the country but also “best practice” in the region for youth friendly services.
· Received an award from “Straight Talk Foundation” as one of the longest serving contributor to the newsletter that targets young people.

·Has participated in developing policy documents and training curriculums with the Ministry of Health and other organization. Among these are National Adolescent Health Policy, National Youth and HIV/AIDS policy guidelines, STD Training Manual for Service Provides, Curriculum for Community Counseling Aides, Guidelines for Community Change Agents, National Curriculum for Training Health Workers in Adolescent Reproductive Health,
·Initiated a sexual reproductive health column in one of the local language government newspapers. This column most popular and has lead to similar initiatives in other local papers both public and private.
