DATA/CONTENT MANAGEMENT (CONTENT ANALYST)

As an Analyst you will gain exposure to different reports of covered Industries, while having frequent interaction with global analysts to learn the industry dynamics and create a symbiotic work culture.

This position is an excellent stepping stone to understand Industry dynamism, that will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry through financial reporting standards, and enable you to learn facets of the assigned industry, and as well as apply this knowledge to your daily responsibilities.

What we look for:

•Strong finance or accounting specialization. The candidate should be willing to work in rotational night shifts.

Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, while following flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

•Solid understanding of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow statements and how they interrelate.

Effective communication skill and sound computer skills are the pre requisites for the positions.

•Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness

Manager / Individual Contributor: Individual ContributorKey Roles & Responsibilities:

•Process data (Financial or Non-Financial, depending on the process selected for) and apply it in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge

•Standardization, collection and validation of corporate annual, semi-annual or quarterly financial data from companies; published reports.

•Keeps up-to-date in knowledge of content sets. Builds industry knowledge by understanding industry trends and reporting standards

•Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the covered content sets.

•Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team.

•Functional and Business Knowledge:

•Applies basic understanding of operations principles, theories and work tools to complete assignments

•Acquiring basic understanding of the business and the data/content that he/she is managing for that group Interactions:

•Campus:

•Any Graduation -- 50% and Above

•PGDM/MBA or CFA - Aggregate of 50% and above

•Streams Eligible – Any Stream with Finance as Major or Minor subject

•Willingness to work in all shifts on rotational basis (10 am to 7 pm, 2 pm to 11 pm and 08 pm to 5 am)

•Excellent Good written and verbal communication skills

•Well versed with Internet searching and Microsoft Office

•Business Knowledge: Familiarity with the global Business environment, Databases, international/global Research sources and Content.

•Ability to work in fast paced environment on multiple tasks simultaneously and also as part of a team but still be able to function independently

•Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver with regard to fast deadlines An inquisitive and investigative nature.

Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills:

COMPENSATION :

•The Total Annual Earnings would be INR 2,66,736 LPA – INR 4,04,520 LPA + Shift allowances + Bonus.

•In addition, the employee will be eligible for Gratuity as per Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.

•There would be income tax deduction from the Total Earnings and Benefits, as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961 a nd a contribution of Rs. 10 as per Punjab Labor Welfare Fund Act, 1965 prevailing from time to time

•There will also be a deduction of the employee contribution to the Provident Fund

•The Employee and his/her family will be covered under a Group medical insurance cover of INR 300,000 per annum and Term life insurance covering upto 36 times of monthly gross salary.

•Shift Allowance is only applicable for the below mentioned shifts:

2 PM to 11 PM (INR 2,750 per month)

8 PM to 5 AM (INR 5,500 per month)

BENEFITS :

•You will be eligible to participate in the 2017 S&P Global Incentive Plan. Actual payment under the Plan, if any, will be based on the degree of achievement of the established company and/or division objective(s) and your individual performance and contribution.

•Your payment for the performance year will be pro-rated based on the number of days you have been employed with the company.

•Awards may be less than the communicated target and subject to your manager's assessment of your performance.

•Please note that target opportunities and eligibility are not commitments to pay any award as all payments under the plan are discretionary.

•To receive a payment, you must be an employee in good standing and be employed by S&P Global, or any of its business units, on the Plan payout date.

•Meal benefits for employees working in Evening and Nights shifts.

HIRING PROCESS : CAMPUS 2016-17

Phase – 1 : The eligible students would appear for the online Aptitude Test at the pre-decided venue.

Phase – II : Company Presentation for interested candidates. Group discussion in the form of batches (Batch sized varies based upon number of interested candidates)

Phase II

•Candidates shortlisted post the group discussion go through TA and Business Manager Level round of Interview at pre decided venue.

•Candidates shortlisted from TA and Manager Level round of Interview may undergo Associate Director/Director level round of Interview, if required (tentative).

Phase III :Final List of students selected is communicated to the Placement Coordinator.
