Ruby’s mum is telling Ruby a story.
Listen to the story. The story will be played two times.

[Mum: Once upon a time, there was a monster. The monster lived in a lake. He had a long big tail. He was tall and hairy all over. He had a small mouth but he ate a lot. He hunted at night and ate up all the animals in the lake. People were afraid of him and didn’t go near his living place.

playing with some balls near the lake. ‘Oh, good! Those balls look yummy!’ the monster thought. So he ran to the children, scared them away and ate all their balls.
