Call to order 7:05 pm

In attendance: Murray “Jay” Dietz, Eugene Cross, Allen Moerke &

Patrick McCoy. Jon Ryan arrived later

Also in Attendance: Council Members Kevin Odegaard & Ryan C Johnson, Brandon Oye (Moore Eng), Steve Iverson (L2H Development), Art Goldhammer (Red Door Homes), numerous MG 1st residents, & Mary H.

Motion Allen Moerke approving June 24, 2014 minutes, 2nd Patric McCoy.

Integrity Steel additional driveway – Steve Iverson stated the 3rd drive way would be used maybe 6 times a week. Motion Patric McCoy granting amendment to site plan adding 3rd driveway on Horsch Anderson Ave, 2nd Eugene Cross.

Meridian Grove 2nd

Brandon – changes made:

Sidewalk easement (along west edge of cemetery)

Shared Use Path (20 ft wide eastern side) force main along Ind Park combined.

South end – 10 ft wide easement into utility right of way

45 foot planting buffer

Utility Easement (north side of buffer)

9 lots changed to 8 to match existing MG 1st.

MG 1st residents voiced their concerns. Discussion followed. Art Goldhammer offered to change Blks 5 & 6 from 72’ to 80’ lots with same existing setbacks, decreasing development by 2 lots.

Motion Allen Moerke, accept 2 lot change to plat and rezoning. Green space discussion with Park Board will be done and then presented to city council. 2nd Eugene Cross.

Discussion of road classifications resulted in a map that will be created by Brandon for the city.

Permits – reviewed. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical work that is done should be according to state & national code (permits required) were also discussed, as the city had done them in the past. (To insure licensed professionals were being used).

Motion Patric McCoy to adjourn 2nd Jon Ryan.
