Director of Quality Control - Offense, North Carolina State University 2014 – 2016

  • Created game portfolios for the head coach and offensive coaching staff for upcoming opponents. (Included in this were 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th down reports, redzone (high & tight), short yardage, goal line, pressure packages and extensive player evaluations on each opponents personnel)
  • Evaluated offensive personnel and provide an analysis of each player’s strengths and weaknesses to the staff.
  • Teams participated in bowl games consecutively in 2014 and 2015.
  • Assisted in the coaching of a 3rd round draft pick (QB – Jacoby Brissett) New England Patriots during the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
  • Critiqued and provided self-scout information for the offensive coaching staff throughout the season.
  • Provided game management procedures to the head coach using analytical information to increase success rates offensively, defensively, and special teams.

Recruiting Coordinator /Linebacker Coach, Old Dominion University 2013 – 2014

  • Helped the team win eight games in its first season as an FBS program.
  • Implemented strategies and techniques to allow the student athletes playing the linebacker position to be successful academically and athletically.
  • Coordinated the kickoff return team and assisted with the kickoff and punt return teams.

Recruiting Coordinator /Tight Ends, James Madison University2012 – 2013

  • In charge of coordinating all aspects of recruiting while ensuring compliance with NCAA rules.
  • Directed the JMU Football Camps, which included the supervisionof staff, scheduling facility usage, and organizing the daily camp schedule.
  • Coordinated the punt return team assisted with the kickoff return and extra point /field goal teams.
  • Coached Tight Ends and assisted with the offensive tackles.
  • Supervised the video staff and videographers.

  • Student-Athletes playing the running back position had a graduation rate of 97% from 2004 to 2012.
  • Attended and successfully completed the NCAA 2008 Coaches Academy.

  • Teams have reached the playoffs 5 times in a 10 year span compiling over 80 plus wins.
  • Helped guide an offensive unit that was ranked in the top 20 nationally in rushing 8 times in 10 seasons from 2004 – 2012.
  • Coached 2 National Players of the Year, 13 Conference Players of the Year, 26 First Team All – Americans, over 46 First Team All-Conference selections and over 120 All Conference selections.

  • Resource Center Coordinator- Facilitated a 2nd tier alcohol and drug class for students who had problems with substance abuse. Facilitated hearings in the Office of Judicial Affairs.
  • Admissions Counselor - Presented on a weekly basis to prospective students and families interested in learning about James Madison University. Reviewed applications and transcripts for prospective student-athletes.
  • Academic Advisor - Facilitated career and life planning courses designed to focus on the freshman student – athlete addressing topics such as time management, value clarification, ethics, study skills and budgeting. Advised undeclared freshman and student-athletes on career choices, majors and course selections.
