Message from Pioneer Day Chairman
The year 1951 saw two important beginnings,dedication of the first Univac and the premier joint Computer Conference. This evening, Speny Univac and the American Federation of Infrmation Processing Societies,meeting at the prestigious Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, commemorate both events and pay Tribute to the Univac I Pioneers,
The story of the Pioneers is a saga of creativity, determination, and perseverence where others have failed, To the spirit and the memory these Pioneers we dedicate this evening, remembering how much they gave us sothat future genrttlions might live abd prosper in a better world.
